As a Locum NP/PA Hospitalist, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal health outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in managing patient cases, performing assessments, and developing treatment plans. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
• Provide patient education and support to families
• Document patient care accurately and timely in medical records
• Participate in patient rounds and team meetings
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
• Valid NP or PA license in the state of practice
• Previous experience in a hospitalist or acute care setting preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule: 12-hour days and night shifts 

Setting: Inpatient

Number of Beds: 190 beds

Volume of Patients: 15-20 daily

Must be board-certified
