This role is responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques. The welder will work primarily on large structural steel components for NAVSEA-related equipment, ensuring high-quality, precise, and durable welds in a demanding fabrication environment.

Work Environment
Work takes place in a non-climate-controlled shop composed of open-air buildings, including both older facilities and brand-new structures. The environment is industrial and production-focused, with active fabrication and welding of large structural steel components. Welders use flux core, pulse, and MIG pulse welding processes, along with standard fabrication tools and equipment. The setting supports a large and growing team of welders and fitters, with opportunities for additional shifts on Fridays and Saturdays as production needs allow.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
