Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic, with experience in maintenance, sheet metal repairs, and/or avionics troubleshooting.
Candidates must live within a one-hour drive or sixty (60) miles (whichever is greater) of their primary base of residence.
Travel between bases is required as part of the role.
Basic communication and computer skills.
Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, functional capacity exam (strength and flexibility assessment), drug screening, and background check.
Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
Flexibility to travel frequently and work varying schedules, including night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopters to ensure airworthiness and safety.
Conduct troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls, including sheet metal repairs and avionics troubleshooting.
Adhere to FAA regulations and company maintenance policies.
Document all maintenance actions and ensure compliance with technical publications.
Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
