SUMMARY
An employer is seeking to fill a Scale House Operator position in the Carlsbad, New Mexico area (approximately 1-2 miles southwest of Carlsbad on the bypass). This position is responsible for operating a truck scale, weighing incoming and outgoing loads, issuing tickets, and providing basic customer service to drivers.The schedule for this position is 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The employer is looking to hire quickly and is seeking a reliable and dependable individual.
EXAMPLES OF JOB DUTIES
Weigh trucks entering and exiting the worksite using a scale system. Accurately record weights and input data into logs or computer systems. Issue weight tickets to drivers in a timely and professional manner. Provide basic customer service and communicate clearly with drivers and site personnel. Maintain accurate records of transactions and daily activities. Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards. Keep the scale house area clean and organized. Report any discrepancies or issues to management. Other duties as assigned.COMPETENCIES / QUALIFICATIONS
