Scope of Project

This position involves providing expert-level design and implementation of automation and data processing solutions using RPA/RPD technologies. The role supports workflow orchestration, data ingestion, system integration, and enterprise automation initiatives across multiple systems within NYSDOT.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes and workflows to identify automation opportunities

• Design, develop, and implement RPA/RPD automation solutions

• Build and maintain automated workflows and orchestration pipelines

• Integrate automation solutions with APIs, databases, file systems, and enterprise applications

• Perform data ingestion, transformation, and processing tasks

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize automation solutions

• Implement logging, error handling, retry, and recovery mechanisms

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts and developers

• Maintain technical documentation and architecture designs

• Support testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance

Required/Preferred Skills:

Required Skills:

• 84+ months (7+ years) experience in enterprise automation using RPA/RPD technologies

• Experience designing scalable automation frameworks

• Strong experience in workflow orchestration and automation pipelines

• Experience integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise systems

• Experience in data processing, ingestion, and transformation

• Programming/scripting experience (Python, .NET, or similar)

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and error handling mechanisms

• Experience working in enterprise-level environments

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in enterprise architecture design

• Experience with large-scale automation platforms

• Experience in high-volume data processing systems

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
