Job Description

At The 20 client relationships are our top priority. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the outsourced IT industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a range of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to our clients' satisfaction. This role involves extensive coordination with cross-functional teams, clients, and external vendors, demanding a blend of technical expertise, project management acumen, and exceptional communication skills.

Essential Functions:

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.

  • Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Client and Stakeholder Management:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.

  • Act as the primary point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants.

Team Leadership:

  • Guide the project team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.

  • Delegate project tasks based on team members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.

Risk Management:

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

  • Identify and manage potential crises and devise contingency plans.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered with high quality and meet client expectations.

  • Oversee the quality control process throughout the project lifecycle.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

  • Report and escalate to management as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.

  • Proven working experience in project management in the IT sector, specifically in outsourcing services.

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
