Genesis Industrial Staffing has a client in the Pascagoula, MS area looking for 2nd and 3rd Class Pipe Welders!! 

**Offering a sign on bonus and PTO**

-Must pass hair follicle drug screen and 7 year background check
-Pay for 2nd Class is $42.24 (determined by skills assessment)
-Pay for 3rd Class is $40.32 (determined by skills assessment)
-Per Diem of $180 for days worked is offered if you are 75 miles away and have the acceptable documents

Must have:

• Pipe Welder HA must have graduated from a pipe welder program at a vo-tech school or other training school
• Program must have training in TIG root and stick fill and cap on steel piping in the 6GR position

Job Description:

A Pipe Welder is responsible for performing pipe welding procedures on Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel pipe using Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), also known as tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding. The shipyard environment is an around the clock manufacturing setting. Production areas at times involve working at different heights, confined spaces, different weather conditions as well as multiple shifts 24 hours a day. As with most every position in the shipyard, a Welder may be required to work either day or night dependent upon the number of ships under construction at any one point in time.

Types of metal materials with a variety of welding processes; the most basic of which are, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) also known as "stick welding” and Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW) also known as “wire welding.”
