The salary range for this position is $19.81 - $26.74 (Hourly Rate)
Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. This is a part-time, 20 hours per week, phlebotomy position located at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.
Start times can vary between 4am and 10:30am and end between 8am and 7pm. Example shift include 4am - 12:30pm; 5am - 1:30pm; 8am - 4:30pm; 9am - 5:30pm; 10:30am - 7pm. May alternate between inpatient and outpatient. Will be scheduled for every other Saturday and Sunday.
The Phlebotomist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Phlebotomist provides expert phlebotomy services and must demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills. The phlebotomist must have the ability to function as part of a highly effective team that consistently puts “Patients First”.
The Phlebotomist is responsible for venipuncture collection and specimen processing. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to order entry in multiple systems, verification of test result receipt, patient information retrieval and lab reception/clerical duties and functions.
