We are sharing a specialised full-time W-2 opportunity for experienced software engineers with strong backgrounds in UI development, mobile application engineering, reusable component design, and cross-platform software systems.
This role supports an exciting opportunity through Cincinnatus LLC, an enterprise staffing company that partners with leading technology companies to place highly skilled professionals into full-time and long-term contingent roles.
Selected professionals will join a team within an advanced AR and VR division focused on developing next-generation interaction technologies built around rich neuromotor signals measurable non-invasively with single motor neuron resolution. This role is especially well-suited to engineers with strong user interface and mobile development experience who can collaborate across research and product environments, build maintainable and testable code, and support applications across desktop and Android platforms.

UI & Mobile Application Development
Implement custom user interfaces using modern programming techniques and technologies
Develop reusable software components for interfacing with back-end platforms
Support applications across desktop and Android environments with maintainable, high-quality code
Cross-Functional Product & Research Collaboration
Present designs, prototypes, and concepts to cross-functional partners and stakeholders
Work collaboratively with Research, Engineering, and other partners to execute and complete experiences
Help translate early concepts into polished, reusable software systems
Software Architecture & Code Quality
Contribute to maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing practices
Work across a variety of coding languages and technologies
Apply sound software architecture thinking to support large-scale application development
Ideal Profile
Strong candidates may have:
Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques
Exposure to architectural patterns used in large-scale software applications
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Hack
Experience building Android applications in Java or Kotlin using the Android SDK
Experience owning a component, feature, or system end to end
Strong ability to work collaboratively across technical and cross-functional environments
Preferred qualifications
Experience building complex applications for iPhone or iPad using Objective-C, C++, or Swift with the iOS SDK and related frameworks
Experience with multithreaded programming and mobile memory management
Strong familiarity with reusable UI systems and backend-connected product experiences
Comfort working in fast-paced product environments connected to advanced research efforts
