Low Voltage Technician
Job Description
This role offers a hands-on opportunity for low voltage technicians at varying experience levels to support large-scale data center deployments. You will focus primarily on CAT6 copper cabling installations using pre-terminated systems in a fast-paced data center environment, with minimal fiber work and no splicing. The position involves end-to-end data cabling tasks, from installation and routing to testing and troubleshooting, ensuring reliable connectivity for critical infrastructure.

Work Environment
This position is based in a data center environment that operates at a fast pace and requires attention to detail and adherence to structured cabling standards. You will work around racks, cabinets, and network equipment, frequently handling CAT5 and CAT6 cabling and pre-terminated systems. The work involves physical tasks such as pulling cable, routing through trays and pathways, and installing equipment in racks. Hours may align with project schedules and deployment timelines, which can include periods of higher activity during major infrastructure build-outs. The environment emphasizes safe work practices, organized work areas, and professional appearance suitable for technical data center settings.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
