Job Description

FEFA, LLC / MPF Federal is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to support outpatient and ambulatory care services. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, team-based clinical environment while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting
• Perform clinical assessments and document findings accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Assist with patient treatments, procedures, and exams as directed by providers
• Respond effectively to emergency situations within the scope of practice
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain compliance with all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of a State Board of Nursing–approved LPN/LVN program , OR
• Graduate of an ACEN-accredited LPN program , OR
• Completion of an equivalent military LPN training program
• Certificate required

Experience

• Minimum one (1) year of experience within the last two (2) years as an LPN in:
  • Outpatient acute care (hospital-based), or
  • Ambulatory care setting

Competencies

• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Knowledge of outpatient and ambulatory care workflows
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based care model

Licensure

• Current, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in any of the following:
  • 50 U.S. States
  • District of Columbia
  • Puerto Rico
  • Guam
  • U.S. Virgin Islands

Certifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
