Family Law Paralegal Jacksonville, FL | Full-Time | Hybrid

Are you an experienced litigation paralegal looking to build or expand your career in family law? We are partnering with a highly respected, family law focused practice in Jacksonville that is seeking an organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative environment where you'll play an integral role in supporting clients through some of the most important transitions in their lives. Responsibilities
  • Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, notices, and discovery documents

  • Prepare and file documents through the Florida e-Filing Portal

  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, hearings, and case management

  • Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries

  • Manage court deadlines, calendaring, and case files

  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

  • Maintain organized and accurate litigation files

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of paralegal experience
  • Family law experience preferred, but experienced litigation paralegals looking to transition into family law are encouraged to apply
  • Experience using the Florida e-Filing Portal and county clerk dockets (required)

  • Experience with Florida court procedures

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills

  • NALA Certification is a plus
