About the Opportunity

The firm is seeking a seasoned attorney who can independently manage sophisticated planning matters while contributing to the continued expansion of the trusts and estates practice. Responsibilities

• Advise clients on estate planning, wealth preservation, and succession strategies
• Draft and implement wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related planning documents
• Counsel high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies
• Assist with trust administration, probate, and fiduciary matters as needed
• Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships as a trusted advisor
• Maintain and grow an existing client base while contributing to new business development efforts
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to provide comprehensive planning solutions

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Bar license in good standing (or ability to obtain admission if applicable)
• Minimum of 5+ years of estate planning or trusts & estates experience required
• Proven ability to independently manage sophisticated planning matters
• Portable book of business required
• Strong drafting, client counseling, and relationship management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in long-term growth
