Job Description

Role Description

The Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of billing data, supporting payment reconciliation processes, and maintaining thorough documentation of billing-related activities. This role plays a critical part in the financial operations of the organization by validating billing inputs, assisting with adjustments and re-billings, and ensuring all records are properly maintained for audit and reporting purposes.

  • Validate billing data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in reconciling payments, adjustments, and re-billings
  • Maintain detailed and organized documentation of billing, payment, and related financial activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED
  • 6 months of work experience in Billing, Reconciliations, Collections, or Pharmacy
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Ability to analyze data with a high level of accuracy and consistency
