Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and skilled maintenance professional to help keep our apartment community safe, comfortable, and well-maintained. In this role, you will respond to resident service requests, complete routine maintenance tasks, and support the overall upkeep of buildings, systems, and common areas. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and committed to delivering excellent service with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and complete work orders in a professional manner
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, doors, windows, fixtures, and other apartment components
• Inspect and maintain common areas, grounds, and building systems to ensure a clean, safe, and functional environment
• Assist with unit turnovers, including repairs, touch-ups, and readiness for new residents
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
• Communicate clearly with residents, team members, and management regarding work status and needed materials
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Monitor inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; report needs as necessary
• Support emergency repairs and on-call needs as assigned
• Perform other related duties to support the property and resident experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience in apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and general building systems
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs efficiently and safely
• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach when working with residents
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and standard maintenance equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver’s license may be required
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks as needed

Preferred Experience

• Experience with apartment turns and make-ready operations
• Knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting and basic maintenance
• Experience working in a fast-paced residential property environment
• EPA certification, CPO certification, or similar credentials are a plus

Additional Information
