Since its start as the Google Self-Driving Car Project in 2009, Waymo has focused on building the Waymo Driver—The World's Most Experienced Driver™—to improve access to mobility while saving thousands of lives now lost to traffic crashes. The Waymo Driver powers Waymo’s fully autonomous ride-hail service and can also be applied to a range of vehicle platforms and product use cases. The Waymo Driver has provided over ten million rider-only trips, enabled by its experience autonomously driving over 100 million miles on public roads and tens of billions in simulation across 15+ U.S. states.

  • Explore diverse data sets (from hiring data, to exit survey data, to everything in between) to provide essential business and process insights to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Build and maintain our data infrastructure to ensure our sources of truth are accurate and scalable.
  • Own the end-to-end process of analytical projects, from brainstorming and scoping to the presentation of results.

You Have

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience in data analytics.
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in hiring analytics, HR reporting, People Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and combining relevant information to generate insights from analyses; creating effective reporting solutions using SQL (e.g., dashboards, tables, metrics).
  • Advanced proficiency and comfort with Google Sheets.
  • Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., R, Python, Javascript, Apps Script.

We Prefer

  • Experience with relational database construction/design/schemas.
  • Experience with statistical methods and analysis (e.g., regression analysis).
  • Experience with survey design, administration, and analysis.
  • Experience using AI to create efficient code/scripts and/or small-scale tools and applications.
